During winter, to make the most of your stay in La Mauricie National Park, Domaine Wabenaki – Andrew offers access to a major network of path in which you can go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing or just walking.This little piece of heaven is the right place to go for a bother free moment of escape.
Great white spaces
The national park has a major cross-country skiing network. There are 68 km of groomed trails with heated shelters every5 km and a waxing room at the Domaine. A variety of trails are available to beginners or experts.
Snowshoeing and winter hiking
The Domaine Wabenaki-Andrew is accessible by a marked trail of 3.8 km along Lac à la Pêche. While there, you will be invited to discover the Parker Lake trail which runs alongside the Rivière à la Pêche and its multiple cascades. This rather easy path, 4 km round-trip, will lead you directly to Parker Lake. For the more intrepid hikers, don’t miss the Lac à la Pêche trail which dominates Lac à la Pêche and Parker Lake. Big maple groves and breathtaking views are part of this 6.5 km loop.
There is an 68-kilometre trail system with heated shelters every 5 kilometres and a waxing room at the Domaine. 32 kilometres are reserved forski-skating.
