Terms of use
- GENERAL
- Info-Nature Mauricie, a not-for-profit organization and manager responsible for the Wabenaki-Andrew Domaine, is bound by a partnership agreement with the Parks Canada Agency, which owns the buildings erected on federal territory.
- Because our accommodation is community-based, people staying here should expect to share the venue and facilities.A manager is on hand throughout your stay.By accessing the Domain, you agree to the Terms of Use.
- Failure to comply with any of these conditions could result in the prohibition of leasing the Estate for future use.
- ACCESS TO THE DOMAINE WABENAKI – ANDREW
- A distance of 3.5 km separates the Saint-Gérard-des-Laurentides parking lot from the Domaine. Since vehicles are prohibited on the trail, this route must be on foot, by bike or by ski and snowshoes.
- Canoes are available only at the Domaine.
- A comfortable luggage transport or shuttle service can be offered to you during certain periods of the summer.
- OCCUPATION OF PLACES
- Domain reservations are allocated per bed. One person = one bed.
- During your stay, you agree to use only the beds of the reserved building.
- The formula for allocating beds is first come, first served.
- Access to Chalet Wabenaki and Maison Andrew is allowed from 3 pm on the day of arrival until 11 am on the day of departure.
- Damage to installations and equipment will be charged to the customer at fault.
- RESPECT OF OTHERS
- Considering our accommodation formula, by staying at the Domaine, the customer agrees to share the premises. Respect for others is therefore paramount.
- PERSON RESPONSIBLE
- The name of the person appearing on the invoice is considered to be the “Responsible person”. The latter is therefore our reference for all communications, financial transactions or other.
- Information or instructions relating to the stay will be transmitted to the “Responsible” only. The latter must forward this information and instructions to the rest of the group.
- It is forbidden to invite other persons, other than the number inscribed on the invoice. Facilities and equipment are strictly reserved for guests of the Domaine.
- For all reservations, a person 18 years of age or older must be designated as “Responsible”.
- TELEPHONE AND INTERNET SERVICE
- The cellular network is only available inside the Chalet Wabenaki.
- A radio communication system is available to the manager in the case of an emergency.
- Internet service is not available at the Domaine.
- No network is available at the Saint-Gérard-des-Laurentides parking lot, only an emergency telephone is available.
- NOISE
- Accommodation at the Domaine is solely for holiday purposes and not for noisy parties.
- The curfew is at 11 pm in winter and at midnight in summer.
- DOMESTIC ANIMALS
- Under no pretext, a Domestic Animal is allowed.
- LOST OR FORGOTTEN OBJECTS
- Info-Nature Mauricie will not be responsible for lost or forgotten items.
- Should the customer forget an object in the Domain, the latter will have to pay all transport costs plus taxes to recover them.
- If no object is claimed at the end of the season, Info-Nature Mauricie will dispose of it at will.
- SAFETY
- The customer undertakes all reasonable precautions to protect the integrity of the place and the equipment used.
- For safety reason, fireworks are strictly forbidden.
- The Domaine’s customers must comply with the no-open-fire banning notices issued by the authorities of La Mauricie National Park.
- For safety reasons, only the manager has the authority to allow the use of boats. Otherwise, the client will have to sign a responsibility discharge .
- La Mauricie National Park regulations are in effect at the Domaine.
- REPAYMENT
- To find out the deadlines for a refund, in the event of a cancellation or a modification, see our policy.
- If access to the Domaine (Trail # 3 and # 3A) is closed by the authorities of the Park national de la Mauricie, you will be entitled to an equivalent stay during the current season or the following summer.
- If a random draw is required for the distribution of fishing licenses, the client who has not been selected will not be entitled to a refund.
- If the fishing season is closed due to quotas on Parker Lake and / or the fishing lake prior to Labor Day, the customer will not be entitled to a refund.
- If the customer is evicted during his stay for non-compliance with the conditions of use, he/she will not be entitled to any refund.
- Info-Nature Mauricie is not responsible and will not provide any refund due to a power failure resulting from weather condition or other circumstances beyond its control.
- Info-Nature Mauricie is not responsible and will not provide any refund due to bad weather conditions, snow storm or other circumstances beyond its control.
- Info-Nature Mauricie is not responsible and will not provide any refund in case where the cross-country ski trailhead is not totally open or that the weather conditions are unfavourable to practicing your sport.
- There will be no refund for inclement weather or any nuisance resulting from chalet life such as mosquitoes or animal population.
